Come visit Cascade Playtime Rentals for year round fun! We are located a few miles north of the historic town of Roslyn, nestled just off Lake Cle Elum. Whether it is snowing or sunny, you are sure to have a great time. If you like to take it slow, or if you are a bit more aggressive, we have the toys to make your adventure an exciting one. If you like fishing, hiking, biking, or just relaxing in the great outdoors, then bring your family; this area offers something for everybody!

Museum – located on Pennsylvania Avenue, it includes an excellent display of artifacts from Roslyn's glory years as a local mining town.

The mines – visit the town hall (located on the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and 1st Street) for information on mine tours (there are no tours inside the mines).

Coal Miners Trail – originates in Cle Elum and passes through Roslyn before ending in Ronald. The trail follows the original Northern Pacific Railway line. Access is at the east end of Pennsylvania Avenue.

The Miners Memorial – located across from the town hall, this statue commemorates the many who gave their lives in pursuit of coal.

The Brick Tavern – both historically interesting as the oldest operating tavern under a single name in Washington and a common scene filmed in Northern Exposure. It is located on the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and 1st Street.

Suncadia is a full-service golf resort just 80 miles from Seattle. Suncadia's Prospector Golf Course is a breathtakingly beautiful, challenging but not punishing, mountain golf course that golfers of all abilities will enjoy. Scheduled to open in the spring of 2008, Suncadia's second public golf course, Rope Rider, is a Jacobsen Hardy family-friendly design. Although the course will play over 7000 yards from the back tees, it also features youth tees on every hole and distinct six-hole and three-hole loops, for a family friendly round of golf.

Major recreational area in the midst of beautiful mountains and pristine national forests

Snoqualmie Pass is a major winter and summer recreational area bordered in part by the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and the Wenatchee National Forest, home to the Community of Snoqualmie Pass and the largest ski resort area in the state. The dividing line of King and Kittitas Counties passes through the community at The Summit. Snoqualmie Pass draws hundreds of thousands of visitors annually, many to sample the wilderness beauty, travel the national forest trails, and a growing number who participate in the ever expanding recreational activities.

Mount Rainier National Park was established on March 2, 1899, and encompasses 235,625 acres, ranging in elevation from 1,610' to 14,410' above sea level. The "mountain" is an active volcano encased in over 35 square miles of snow and ice, surrounded by old growth forest and stunning wildflower meadows. The park is also rich in cultural resources and was designated a National Historic Landmark District as an outstanding example of early park planning and NPS rustic architecture.
